How we calculate P&L

Short version: dollars a wallet got from selling a token, minus dollars it spent buying it. The same rule on every chain, and the same one DEX Screener uses for its top traders.

Realised profit

For each wallet we add up the US dollar value of every sell and subtract the US dollar value of every buy, each priced at the moment of the swap. Tokens the wallet still holds are not counted as profit until they are sold, so a wallet that bought and never sold shows a loss equal to what it paid.

Profit % is that profit divided by what the wallet spent. A wallet that only sold (for example, one that received tokens by transfer) has no cost to measure against, so we show “No buys” instead of a percentage.

Which trades count

By default the ranking counts swaps in the token’s main pool, the one with the most volume, which is how DEX Screener counts. You can switch to every trade from launch across all pools and launchpads. Swaps paid for by a different wallet, such as gasless relayed swaps, are credited to the wallet that paid.

Earliest buyers

Buyers are ordered by their first buy, by block and then by position in the block. The arrow-in-target badges mark positions 1, 2–3, 4–6 and 7–10. Past the first 10,000 trades a position is estimated from the token’s trading rate and shown with ≈.

Launch flags

A wallet is flagged as bundled when its first buy shared a transaction with other buyers, or landed in the launch block alongside them. Shared funders are checked separately: wallets whose first coins came from the same address. Each flag lists the wallets and transactions it is based on, so you can open them in the chain’s explorer and check.

When the data is partial

Very active tokens and wallets can have more history than a scan reads. When that happens the page says what was covered, for example “first 10,000 transactions”, rather than presenting a partial number as complete.
